On Saturday the 24th of February 2024, we will update iChemistry with minor feature and stability improvements, alongside the following more significant changes explained here below.
User list – see permissions
Navigate to Settings > Permissions > Users
We've made it simpler than ever to view the permissions of your various users in iChemistry! Now, you can effortlessly check permissions directly within the user list. Just hover over the permission group and review the table displaying active permissions for each user.
Overview – see started risk assessments
Navigate to Overview > To do
Now you can have even better control over your risk assessments through the Overview's to-do list! Previously, you could see the number of products completely lacking risk assessments, as well as those that are too old or lack signatures. But now, you will also be able to see the number of products with initiated or modified risk assessments directly in the to-do list, making it clear where you need to complete the work.
Open access – WPI
Navigate to Settings > Permissions > Open Access
Open Access lets you access the most important information about your products directly by scanning a QR code. In the upcoming release we support showing WPI documents in Open access.
Application flex – Basic data
Navigate to Tools > Applications (only applies to systems with Application flex)
For those of you using Application Flex, you will now notice a new button when reviewing applications called Basic data. If you choose a product from the Intersolia database, you will be able to click on Basic data and see all available information about the product directly in the review. It can be helpful to see e.g. hazards information.
Please note that this only applies for products that has digitalized data, i.e. the information from the SDS is available in iChemistry. If it is not yet digitalized you can still get access to the SDS and find the information you need from there .
Own documents – UI improvements
Navigate to Tools > Own documents
Last release we presented some big changes to the Document module, and now we make further improvements. When you click on Add, to add a new document, you will see out new popup window where you choose e.g. which department the document should be connected to, and if you would like to connect it to a product.
Then, there are two tabs in the document list view, showing department related and product related documents respectively.
