On Saturday the 8th of October 2022, we will update iChemistry with minor feature and stability improvements, alongside the following more significant changes explained here below.
New menu bar
It should be simple and easy to find your settings. From the 8th of October, you will be able to see our new menu bar, where the buttons for Settings and Master Data have been merged to be under one and the same button. This way, all administrative functions can be found in the same place. The functions for Print, Application, My profile, Change password and My department will be found in the top right side of iChemistry.
New label module coming in the end of October
We can already now say that we are doing the finishing touches on our new label module that will be launched in the end of October! All of you that have the standard label module today, will get this new flexible version, where you have a range of formats to choose from and, if needed, can create and save your own formats.
New restriction list: REACH Training requirements for diisocyanates
As of September 12, 2022, we have a new restriction list in iChemistry: REACH Training requirements for diisocyanates. The list is provided as standard for all customers operating in the EU.
Diisocyanates can be allergenic and cause severe asthma in those exposed to these substances in their work. To protect workers, diisocyanates listed in Entry 74 in Annex XVII requires training from 24th of August 2023 and you can already now see in iChemistry if you have any products covered by these requirements. Have a look in the Overview under Restriction and prohibition lists.
New Danish restriction list – Training requirements for epoxy and diisocyanates
We are expanding the range of Danish restriction lists with a new list: Training requirements for epoxy and diisocyanates or in Danish: Uddannelseskrav til arbejde med epoxy og isocyanter. The list is given as standard to all customers with Danish systems.
German help center
We can now offer a new language for the Help Center: German. This means that there are now instructional articles and videos for all your German colleagues who need support in working with iChemistry in their local language.
Risk assessment – last signed
If you make changes in an already signed risk assessment, it will now be easier to see the latest signed version(s) in the risk assessment module. If you make changes without re-signing it, the last signed version will still be active for the product, and you can clearly see that with the extra column which shows the date for the last signed risk assessment.
One-off measures overview
When it's time to check your one-off measures, you will now get a faster view for active and completed in the Overview. One-off measures are created in the risk assessment if you need to assign tasks to colleagues, such as double check or purchase protective equipment or similar.
