On Saturday the 17th of May 2025, we will update iChemistry with minor feature and stability improvements, alongside the following more significant changes explained here below.
New UI design
We’ve put extra focus on the UI design for this release, so we’re excited to introduce the updates. Here's what's new:
- In the “Overview” for “Restriction and prohibition lists”, you can now see new icons. These changes are made to ensure better consistency across the entire system. Yellow icons indicate that there are products on the list, while green icons mean there are no products on the list.
- Inside the restriction and prohibition lists, we’ve also made some changes. The icon in the upper left corner has been added, there’s a new “Status” column, the “Manage” icon has been changed to a gear icon, the “Location” and “Revision Date” has been moved under the lists name and the “Advanced filter” has been added.
- We’ve made improvements to the "Departments" page, which previously displayed information in separate boxes. The new layout now features tabs, providing a cleaner and more organized interface that enhances navigation and efficiency for users. Additionally, the system now remembers the last tab you visited on the "Departments" page. If you log out and then sign in again, you’ll automatically return to the same tab you were in previously.
- “Type”, in the sidebar menu, has also been updated to keep up with the overall design improvements, and the entire search field functionality has been added — including the "advanced filter".
- We’re excited to announce another fantastic UI improvement that is now live in the Risk Assessment section. The "Copy" button has been redesigned for a more intuitive experience. While the core functionality remains the same, the search feature now dynamically updates based on what you type, making it significantly easier for users to find and copy the risk assessment they need.
Separate column for “Unit”
Navigate to Reports > All reports, WPI and Risk assessments “Not started” tab.
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance clarity and usability in the system, we’ve introduced a dedicated column for units across all reports, as well as in the “Not Started” tabs of both the WPI and Risk Assessment. By displaying the unit in its own column, we ensure that data is consistently presented, and it bring greater precision to your data analysis.
New “Copy” function in Exposure register
Add-on option
Navigate to Tools > Exposure register
We are pleased to announce a powerful new feature in the Exposure Register. The "Copy" function is now available, allowing you to copy any exposure registration. This enhancement significantly streamlines your workflow, as it removes the need to manually recreate exposure registrations that involve multiple individuals. Simply copy an existing registration, make any necessary adjustments, and save. This update not only saves valuable time but also ensures greater consistency and accuracy in your documentation, providing you with more efficient and reliable data management.
