About the list
The EU Biocidal Products Regulation is the EU-wide legislation that regulates which substances are approved as active ingredients in so-called biocidal products and in which types of biocidal products each substance has been approved for use.
"Article 95 Biocidal Products regulation EU" lists products that contain one or more active biocidal substances according to the Biocidal Products Regulation ((EU) No 528/2012). With this list, you get an overview of whether the chemicals in your operations contain any substances that are approved or are under investigation for approval as active biocidal substances.
I have products on the list - what should I do?
Since this is a list of approved substances, there might not be a need to do anything if you have products on the list, unlike other "restriction lists" in iChemistry. But when encountering Article 95 substances, you can verify with your suppliers whether your biocidal products are approved within the EU and for your market, and ensure that the actors in your supply chain are approved suppliers of biocides.
Keep in mind that most chemicals containing approved biocidal substances are not always used as pesticides. Therefore, be meticulous in reviewing the intended use of your listed products.
