About the lists
GADSL: Declarable
Relevant only for subcontractors to the automotive industry. If one or more substances (CAS and EC numbers) match against GADSL Declarable and if the substances exceed the defined limited values specified with GADSL, you must declare that these substances are used.
GADSL Declarable is divided into three categories. These categories indicate why the substances match against the restriction list:
LR – Legally Regulate
FA – For assessment
FI – For information

GADSL: Prohibited
Relevant only for subcontractors to the automotive industry. A substance designated “P” is prohibited for all automotive uses in at least one region / market, or may not exceed a regulated threshold limit for all automotive uses in at least one region / market. The restriction list is matched against substances (CAS and EC numbers) in your chemical products.
