Q: What is a safety sheet? 

A: A safety sheet has safety information summarized from the Safety Data Sheet* (SDS) or a risk assessment. The safety sheet can be printed out and kept nearby where the product is used to prevent and help during emergencies. 

 

General safety sheet

The general safety sheet only includes information from the SDS*. Search for the product or choose from a product list to to see the general safety sheet's.

Sections that are included in the safety sheet are based on which sections the customer subscribes to. If you would like to add sections, please contact the support (support.se@intersolia.com).


 


Activity based safety sheet

If a risk assessment has been created and then signed in iChemistry, a new safety sheet will be created with information from the risk assessment. 

 

The safety sheet for the activity is visbile in the department where the risk assessment has been made. You can also search in the general search field above the menu. 


1. Search for the activity

2. Click on the activity


3. Choose "Safety sheet"

4. Or search for the product



5. In iSafe you need to choose a location



6. Click on "Safety sheet" and you can select the activity safety sheet:


 

The activity based safety sheet includes information from the risk assessment or the risk evaluation.


If you have chosen in the risk assessment to show the information from the SDS and the product contains hazard pictograms, these will be shown in the top of the activity based safety sheet. 


If you has choose to use other hazard pictograms, these will be shown under local information.




Edit safety sheet

If the safety sheet has been edited in the Safety Sheet editor in the risk assessment it will show a "Revision No." and "Published date". This is an add-on feature:


After the last step in the risk assessment is "Done" the button for edit the safety sheet will appear.

Here you can edit information from the safety sheets all sections except the handling instruction, that can be edited in the risk assessment steps. Click on Safety Sheet Editor to start the editing

  • Decide the layout and compress the safety sheet to one page.
  • Adapt the safety sheet by selecting the sections you want visible on the safety sheet.






If iChemistry has the add-on feature the buttons for "Safety sheet editor" will be visible in the risk assessment. If you are intrested in the feature please contact your iChemistry contact or support@intersolia.com
